Materials Today: 3 Big Questions in Nano

The field of nanoscience has grown and expanded faster than almost any other field, being one of the most multidisciplinary fields in science with applications spanning every aspect of 21st century life. But the unique opportunities of nanoscience also raise unique questions. Join us on 25th June for a panel discussion on the big questions in nanoscience, as thought leaders spanning materials science will discuss key issues in the field, and engage in high level debate on the future of nano.

The panel will comprise a moderated Question & Answer session on the “3 big questions”, followed by the opportunity for the audience to pose their questions and discussion topics to the panel. The panel will comprise: Prof. Jun Lou, Rice University (Editor-in-Chief, Materials Today); Prof. Ze Zhang, Zhejiang University (Editor-in-Chief, Materials Today Nano) and Prof. Quan Li, Chinese University of Hong Kong.

NANO2018, the City University of Hong Kong and Elsevier's Materials Today family are delighted to invite all delegates of the NANO2018 conference to attend a special session on Monday 25th June.

The "Materials Today: 3 Big Questions in Nano" session will comprise a panel discussion on the big questions in nanoscience, as thought leaders spanning materials science will discuss key issues in the field, and engage in high level debate on the future of nano.

How to get to Senate Room, 19/F, Lau Ming Wai Academic Building (AC3)

Arrived at Pedestrian Subway
  1. When you get off the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) at Kowloon Tong station, find Exit C to Festival Walk then take Exit C2.
  2. In Festival Walk, go up to Level LG1.
  3. Find Shop LG1-10, take the escalator next to it, which brings you to a pedestrian subway leading to CityU.
  4. Pass through the pedestrian subway and turn right to reach the Chinese Garden.
  5. Walk through the Chinese Garden and you will see Lau Ming Wai Academic Building in front of you.
Arrived at University Circle

When you drop off at the University Circle, go along the covered walkway and follow the directional signs which will lead you to Lau Ming Wai Academic Building.
